Project Overview
3C4AI is a Horizon Europe research project developing an integrated platform for the trustworthy and efficient deployment of distributed Artificial Intelligence (AI) services across the cloud, edge, and high-performance computing (HPC) continuum. By combining open standards, intelligent orchestration, federated data management, and cognitive automation, the project enables AI services to operate seamlessly across multiple infrastructures and service providers.
The project will deliver innovative solutions for AI workload orchestration, secure and policy-compliant data sharing, hardware-aware resource management, and AI-driven service optimisation. Through large-scale validation with industrial and public-sector stakeholders, 3C4AI will demonstrate improved interoperability, operational efficiency, scalability, trustworthiness, and energy efficiency, supporting the adoption of next-generation AI services across Europe.
